Digital SAT
Two Reading and Writing modules, two Math modules, one 400-1600 scale. Practice the adaptive Digital SAT with original items, free.
Archaeologist Sarah Parcak uses satellite imagery to locate buried structures invisible from ground level. Because buried walls alter the moisture content of the soil above them, vegetation growing over those walls develops subtly different colouring — a difference too slight for the human eye but detectable in infrared. Parcak’s team has identified thousands of candidate sites this way, though she is careful to note that satellite data narrows where to dig rather than replacing the digging itself.
Which choice best states the main idea of the text?
Turn on the eliminator with the ABC button, then cross choices out. No feedback until you finish the module, exactly like the real thing.
How it's scored
Everyone starts on the same mixed-difficulty first module. How you do there routes you to one of two second modules, and the harder route carries a higher ceiling.
That's why the Digital SAT can be shorter than the paper test without losing precision, and why raw question counts don't map cleanly to a score. Which questions you got right matters as much as how many.
The loop
Step 1 is free. Steps 2 to 4 need a subscription.

What you get back
Finish a module and you get a score. It happened, so it's a number. Your ability estimate is different: it's an inference from every answer you've given, so it's reported as a range that narrows as you do more work. Anyone showing you a single predicted score is guessing and hiding it.
Until we have enough of your answers to say something useful, we show no estimate at all rather than a range so wide it's meaningless.

A range, because an estimate without one is a guess dressed up as a fact.

Math is roughly three quarters multiple choice and one quarter student-produced response, where you type a numeric answer.
Reading and Writing passages are short, and each one carries a single question.
